The Battle of Grunwald took place on 15 July 1410 during the Polish–Lithuanian–Teutonic War. King Władysław II Jagiełło and Grand Duke Vytautas led the allied forces to victory over the Teutonic Order. Grand Master Ulrich von Jungingen was killed, along with many senior commanders.
